Swagbucks is hands down our favorite online rewards program.
Earning Swagbucks is easy because they're offered for just about everything we're already doing on the phone/computer anyway. Searching, shopping, playing games, voting in polls, reading blogs, watching videos, visiting websites and more.
This page was written when I first joined up--it just skims the surface. I've written much more in-depth information on it since then, just follow the Easy Swag link at the bottom when you've finished.
Use the Swagbucks search engine.
This is one of the easiest ways to earn Swagbucks. Just use their search like you would use any search engine and every once or twice a day, they'll reward you with a random amount of Swagbucks. If you're like me, you're constantly looking up something--may as well earn while you're looking.
Participate in surveys.
Surveys take anywhere from a minute to twenty minutes or more and pay different amounts of Swagbucks. Some of them are pretty quick and easy, like the one I had about cheese. Those are the best surveys--the ones where you know so much about something and love it and want to tell people about it and on top of all that, you're being given Swagbucks to do it.
Shop.
There are awesome discounts and special offers to be had by shopping while signed into Swagbucks or signing up through Swagbucks. The sign up bonuses can be substantial and a lot of sites reward you with Swagbucks for every dollar you spend. You can even receive Swagbucks for printing off coupons and using them. It's pretty cool to get the cents off with the coupon while racking up the Swagbucks, too.
Refer others.
When you refer others to Swagbucks, you get 10% of what they earn for qualified activities. That can add up to a lot of Swagbucks if you have a good number of referrals. We don't have a lot of referrals, yet, but it's so exciting to see when one of them has earned a dollar and our account is credited with 10 Swagbucks (that's 10 cents!). This is probably the easiest way to earn. The person you refer earns bonus Swagbucks, too, just for being refered.
Watch videos.
Not only is this method easy, it's also entertaining and educational. I keep these videos running nearly every moment I'm online.
Play games.
If you like to play online games, Swagbucks offers a really nice selection of them that will earn you rewards while you're playing. There are many free games that reward you just for installing and playing to a certain level and there are games like Bejeweled Blitz, that give you Swagbucks for every dollar you deposit!
Complete your To Do list.
There are eight items on your daily to do list. If you complete six of them, you get bonus Swagbucks and if you complete all eight you get another bonus. The items include a daily poll, a daily search, a daily attempt at a gold survey, a daily completion of a gold survey, a daily watch, a deal of the day, a daily activity, and a daily discover.
Reach your daily goal.
Swagbucks will determine a daily goal for you to reach. If you reach it, you will be awarded bonus Swagbucks at the beginning of the next month. You also get more for reaching the goals on consecutive days.
Find the daily swag code.
Every day Swagbucks posts a code somewhere on the web, like on their Facebook or Twitter page. If you find it and enter it before a certain time, you will receive a few Swagbucks instantly.
Check The Daily Swag.
This is the Swagbucks blog page and every hour they draw a random Swagbucks user's name and post it (you must be logged in to your account and have an avatar). If you see your name, you click and win an instant 1000 Swagbucks.
Redeem for cash with Paypal.
This was the number one draw for me. Once you accumulate 2500 Swagbucks, you can redeem them for a $25.00 deposit into your Paypal account. Your sign-up name and email must match your Paypal name and email and that's all there is to it. They say it takes up to 10 business days, but my experience has been just a couple of days.
Redeem for gift cards.
Usually 100 Swagbucks is worth a $1 gift card, 500 Swagbucks worth a $5 gift card and so on, but sometimes the gift cards will be on sale and you can get more for your Swagbucks buck. Gift cards are available from many major retailers, such as Amazon, Walmart, Target, and others.
Participate in Swagstakes.
Swagstakes are like sweepstakes except that you purchase your entries with your Swagbucks. The odds of winning depend on the number of entries, of course. Some swagstakes allow only a limited number of entries and end when the spots are full and some allow unlimited entries up until a preset time limit.
