I have so much to say about earning Swagbucks, that I decided to write a few more pages on it. This page is all about what ways are easiest to earn, which of course can be quite subjective, but still...
Most of my earning is done on a laptop, but I do have a tablet and a smartphone that I use for some of the mobile apps. I'm just much more comfortable with a keyboard in front of me.
If you are working strictly off of a mobile device, some of the things I list here may be different for you, or not available. Also, if you only have a desktop or laptop (which is not likely these days), you won't be able to download any mobile apps.
As I am getting more familiar with Swagbucks, I am finding some ways to earn swag are easier than others. This is a list I am creating as I go. You may have a different daily routine than I do, or different qualifications or income/goals/resources, so some items on the list may be easier for you than for me and vice versa, but I'm willing to wager that the number one easy way to earn Swagbucks will be the same for you (assuming you do it) as it is for me!
This is not just another top 10 list, mind you (for one, it's not ordered that way). This is a comprehensive look at each of the opportunities Swagbucks provides for you and me to be successful. Of course, there are a lot more than 10 ways, and by the time I'm finished exploring them all, the way in which I rate them may change up some. What seems difficult for me now may turn out to be not so difficult. That's one of the things I love about Swagbucks--they try to make it as easy as they can for you.
So let's get started, then. As I mentioned before, I am creating this as I am learning. In the process of learning, I must discover, and that sounds to me like yet another easy way to make Swagbucks!
We would call these Lagniappe in New Orleans. Collector Bills are a little something extra that Swagbucks offers on holidays or special occassions. Going back through the ledger, I can see that they try to offer these up from at least one to about four times a month.
They're offered in themed sets and each set is only available for a limited time. You win them when you use the Swagbucks search. Each win is worth the amount of Swagbucks pictured on the bill. If you win every bill in the set, you get a special Swagbucks bonus for collecting them all.
At this writing, they are doing a mother's day set, which has six bills in it, ranging from 5 Swagbucks to 23 Swagbucks. So far, I've collected the 5, 8, and 12 SB bills. I need three more unique bills to receive a bonus of 20 Swagbucks. [update: just got the 10]
The Easter Collector Bill pictured was the only one in the set, so I won 21 Swagbucks for the bill and an extra 5 SB for the bonus. Easy! They are an awesome extra gift for using the Swagbucks search.
To find out if Swagbucks is offering these, you can check your ledger, which is in your account activity section, at the top. You'll see two buttons on the right-hand side--one button says ledger, the other says collector bills.
My normal search activity varies, but I'm going to say I've collected one bill for about every five to ten searches. The thing to think about is this: Swagbucks offers such an amazing opportunity to earn money from home--don't screw it up by search bombing--just do your normal searches.
It is possible you will win the same bill more than once. Don't let that discourage you. Remember that these are extra Swagbucks anyway, so if you win one, be happy!
Swagbucks has just recently come out with this program. The only thing you have to do is join this program and then use the benefits in a timely manner. That's it!
When you join, you are automatically placed at the level corresponding to the number of swagbucks you've earned since becoming a Swagbucks member. To join, click on "Member Recognition Program" in your My Account section and then click on "Enroll Now".
As soon as you reach a new level, you will get your "swag-up" and your member recognition page will show the amount of time you have to use your benefit. The higher levels actually give you sustained benefits such as gift cards worth up to $25 each month.
One side benefit of this program for me is the incentive it gives me to go for higher paying surveys. I have to admit, my attention span is limited, and the higher paying surveys usually take too long for me. I pass them up all the time, in favor of less paying, but much shorter surveys.
Well, the double SB bonus for the surveys puts me in a completely different mindset. I want to get the most out of my coveted prize and it feels really darn good to get double the payout on a 300 SB survey!
They're not all hard, but for me, most of them are. And it's not really that they're hard, it's just that it's hard to find out if you qualify for them to begin with. I think a lot of the companies take advantage of the system.
Sometimes you will complete ten or twenty minutes of a survey and you will get kicked. It goes well beyond qualifying you for it. They will actually ask you in-depth questions which require thoughtful responses and then decide they are done with you. It's frustrating.
There's one in particular that tells you up front it is a two part survey and that after you complete the first part, you will be taken to the second part--a prediction game. Both times I have attempted this type of survey, I have completed the first part and then it tells me we are going to the second part. When I click to go there, it takes me to the Swagbucks survey page and I do not get anything for it. It's a complete waste of my time. Let me guess--they're trying to see how many times you will complete this survey before you're able to predict you're being played.
Now others may have a completely different experience with the surveys. I know I am not the ideal candidate for most of them, which is why I get kicked. I'm older than they would probably like, and I don't make as much money as the average shopper out there.
My guess is if you are mid age group with a couple of kids and pets and mid income range, you will do well with the surveys.
The ones I've been able to complete are usually very easy and short and have been about food/health, or anti-aging products. I've even been part of one that sent me a product to test at home. That one was really nice!
What's awesome about Swagbucks is that they give you so many ways to earn, that if you're like me and have a hard time with these surveys, you can just concentrate most of your time on something else.
