Finally, I Can Really Give Something Back!

I wish this could've been around when I was homeschooling. For the first time in my life, I'm not worried about how I'll earn an income. 53 Years

53 Years was created with the idea that each day could be a blank page.

I didn't have a solid idea of where I wanted to go with the site. I had wanted blank pages, and had tried for the names blankpage and blankpages.com, but they were taken. I wasn't sure how I would use the blank pages, but I thought it would be nice to have one to begin each day of my life with. Maybe I could work on learning and doing and improving and I could put something--anything at all--from that particular day on one of those blank pages.

Each blank page would represent a day laid out before me--a day that would offer me the opportunity to make my own choices and write my own story, in my own way. When I awake in the mornings, there would be a crispy clean, brilliantly white, blank page, to call to me and remind me that the key to my happiness and success lies in my hands, with what I choose to do on that day.

Since I plan to live to at least a hundred, that's over 19,000 days and a whole lot of blank pages! I really like the thought of that. And that's how 53 Years got its name. I'll be 100 years old in October 2061--almost 53 years from now. (This was in 2008 - I no longer own this domain, so some of the content will be stored here.)
