I wish this could've been around when I was homeschooling. For the first time in my life, I'm not worried about how I'll earn an income. Alex is not happy!
Alex was not at all happy with the elephant ride. He waited a very long time for it and when he finally got up there, the man (not the one pictured) wouldn't let him ride alone. That would have been okay, considering the line, but then he put him behind two women, effectively eliminating his view of the ground, the elephant and basically everything. Anyone with experience knows you put the kid in front. What was this guy thinking?
We ended up having a pretty good time at this fair, except for the elephant, but in order to do that, we had to overlook a whole lot of rude, pushy and downright mean workers. Not all of it was directed toward us. It was everywhere you looked. Workers ordered people around, insulted them, and demanded money from them. You could feel the stress in the air. We found only two friendly workers the entire day. It was an extremely hot day though, so I'm sure most of it had to do with the heat making people irritated.
